GridMatrix Deployed at Port Newark
GridMatrix is proud to announce the deployment of its AI-powered traffic analytics software at Port Newark and the Elizabeth-Port Authority Marine Terminal, in collaboration with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. This initiative aims to enhance operational efficiency, safety, and environmental sustainability at one of the busiest container ports on the U.S. East Coast.

Leveraging existing camera infrastructure, GridMatrix's cloud-based platform provides real-time alerts and long-term data insights on key performance indicators such as traffic flow, vessel activity, emissions, and security. This deployment enables port operators to proactively manage congestion, respond swiftly to incidents, and monitor environmental impact without the need for additional hardware.

This collaboration builds upon GridMatrix's previous successful deployments with the Port Authority, including projects at the George Washington Bridge, Lincoln Tunnel, and Holland Tunnel. By extending its technology to Port Newark and the Elizabeth-Port Authority Marine Terminal, GridMatrix continues its commitment to optimizing critical infrastructure and supporting the flow of goods that power the economy.

MDIA Innovation Challenge Winners & Port of Miami Deployment
GridMatrix is honored to be named a winner of the Miami-Dade Innovation Authority’s (MDIA) third Public Innovation Challenge, aimed at enhancing cargo visibility at PortMiami. As part of this initiative, GridMatrix will deploy its AI-powered traffic analytics platform to monitor truck movements within the port, focusing on improving roadway safety and reducing congestion.
